My personal journey into the world of therapy began as a child. I vividly remember feeling heard and validated in a safe space, which sparked a sense of hope and possibility within me. This early exposure instilled in me a desire to give back and provide that same support to others. I realized that I wanted to become a therapist to help individuals, especially children and teens, discover their strengths and navigate their own journeys toward healing and growth. My primary therapeutic approach is solution-focused therapy, which is a goal-oriented method that helps you identify your strengths as a powerful tool for change, instead of focusing solely on your problems. This approach is effective for children, teens, adults, and families, encouraging clients to envision their desired future and identify practical steps to achieve their goals. In my practice, I prioritize being intentional, supportive, and fun-loving. While my Southern accent has faded, my Louisiana spirit shines through my work. I deeply value the relationships I build with my clients and their families, striving to bring warmth, authenticity, and a touch of humor to every session. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending quality time with loved ones, immersing myself in documentaries, attending concerts, and cheering on Seattle sports team. Go Huskies!
